Apollo 17: First Scientist and Last Human on the Moon

Apollo 17 This was the last and eleventh human expedition of the Apollo program. This was the first expedition to be launched at night. The specialty of this expedition was that for the first time a scientist was going to the moon. Earlier all the passengers were from the army. Is it an irony or coincidence that the scientist who goes to the moon to date is the last human.

The scum, one of the two humans who stepped on the moon for the last time, was the first geologist to step on the moon. Evans was orbiting the moon in a control vehicle (USA) while Scummit and Sernan collected a record 109 kg of specimens. The pilgrims traveled about 34 km to the moon, they traveled through the Moon in the Tars-Leitro Valley. He also discovered orange colored clay during this time.

The place of landing of this expedition was the Serenatetis, which is in the southwest of Montes Tars. This was a J expedition in which Chandravahan was taken. During this period, the passengers made three trips to the moon which were 7.2,7.6 and 7.3 hours and collected 109 kg samples.

Chandrayaan is housed at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

During this expedition, the travelers took a famous photograph of the Earth called Blue Marble.

Upon its return to Earth, the vehicle struck near Solomon Islands, which was 640 meters from the designated site. The ship was picked up from the sea by the ship USTTonderoga.

The subsequent flights of this campaign were canceled due to budget constraints of Apollo 18,19,20.

The next article will be the last article of the Apollo series. I will try to write this article in such a way that it can also work as the first article.
